Washington, May 25: She's been setting fashion trends, and now Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice will soon be judging a British fashion competition.
Posh will judge creations by hopeful designers at Graduate Fashion Week in London next month. In keeping with her duties, Posh will interview fashion students and judge their designs. Terry Mansfield, Graduate Fashion Week chairman, said that he had been ecstatic when Posh had told him that she would be very interested in playing a part."I had the idea of asking Victoria to be on of the judges earlier this year and when we met she was very interested in it," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying."She has been involved in designing already and she is seen as a global fashion icon. There's no questions that her presence will also help the students get more attention globally and if I have helped to get a couple of students a few more jobs then I haven't done such a bad thing," he added.Other judges include Harper's Bazaar's U.S. editor Glenda Bailey, Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz and British fashion chain River Island's managing director Richard Bradbury.
